Harneys advises Banco do Brasil on US$750 million issuance of Senior Unsecured Notes due 2024 under its US$20 billion Euro Medium Term Note Program (EMTN)

Leading global offshore law firm, Harneys, is pleased to announce that it acted as Cayman Islands’ legal counsel to Banco do Brasil S.A’s Cayman Grand Branch on the issuance of US$750 million Senior Unsecured Notes, due in 2024, under its EMTN program. Dealer Managers to the deal were BB Securities, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, Itaú BBA and Standard Chartered Bank.

Banco do Brasil S.A. is one of the largest banks in Latin America. For more than 200 years, they have offered high standard products and services to clients in Latin America and in more than 24 countries worldwide.

Harneys’ expert advice was provided by the Banking and Finance practice in the Cayman Islands. The firm previously advised the bank in April 2018 on the issuance of the Series No.:3 Tranche under the US$20 billion EMTN programme, which was the first issuance of that year by the Bank in the international capital markets.
